Topic: Suggestion: Text Messages

If it were possible for us to communicate with clients via the clients’ cell phones’ text messaging and charge money per text message (like GimmeAstro.com) I think it would drive a lot of traffic to BitWine and put BitWine head and shoulders above the rest of the expert advice sites!

Topic: Confused about contact channels

1) If a potential client clicks on my widget while I am online does it go to chat, or skype, or my phone, or video?

It goes to the Chat, and from there you can select to invite the client to a Phone or Skype call (in addition to the chat which remains active)

2) If I am offline can a person make an appointemt or only leave a message?

They can leave a message and request appointment, but you are the one setting the appointment (in your reply).

3) Can I chat with 2 people at once?

Yes. You can chat with multiple people at the same time.

4) Are repeat appointments possible? Eg. setting a time slot as ‘taken’ for all following weeks?

No. We do not currently support that.

5) If I am talking to a client do I appear as ‘not available’?

You appear as “Busy” when talking to a client.

6) Is it possible to cancel appointments?

Yes. Go to “Office -> Appointment Book”

7) When a client books an appointment is it always 1 hour, 30 mins, or a different time-period?

You choose the length

8) If a client pays for 30 minutes but stays on for 31 what happens? Do they get cut off?

If you use the charging per minute (Start Charging button) then the client is charged per minute of usage. If you charge a fixed amount of money (Request Payment button) then the money transfer is unrelated to the amount of time you consult.

Topic: session are not get paid for

Thanks for notifying us of this scam. Since PayPal guarantees refunds, there may be no way around this, but I hope BitWine will think of something, for example, us being able to flag clients who are making the rounds with this scam?

BitWine does not drive a high call volume of clients to me at all, so I would imagine that we all have to promote our own services through other means. You can use the link to your profile in your own advertising campaigns.

Topic: session are not get paid for

In the last two days I had two clients coming in for a session. both of them paid via pay pal and I was able to see their payment on my paypal account. However as soon as I was giving them the service they both cancel the payments and were able to get away with it so I want all of you to know that when you see a payment done for you on pay pal it is not really true and you better wait until you see it authorized or else you can end up giving free session here for ever..

I have some questions – I’d appreciate any help.

1) If a potential client clicks on my widget while I am online does it go to chat, or skype, or my phone, or video? Or can I select this in the settings?

2) If I am offline can a person make an appointemt or only leave a message?

3) Can I chat with 2 people at once? (I probably would not – but just curious whether I can ‘screen’ more than 1 client.

4) Are repeat appointments possible? Eg. setting a time slot as ‘taken’ for all following weeks?

5) If I am talking to a client do I appear as ‘not available’?

6) Is it possible to cancel appointments?

7) When a client books an appointment is it always 1 hour, 30 mins, or a different time-period?

I could not find this info on the site so I appreciate any help. Thanks.

If you have not heard back from support it means we somehow can not send you e-mails.

If you have not done so, please write to support@bitwine.com and your account will be removed. You should write to the support from the e-mail on the account or they do not have any way to ensure it is you asking.

I hope this helps.

Topic: Tell me about your experience?

I started out frustrated with the BitWine client, since it has such a large and diverse constellation of platforms working together! However, I’ve found the customer service to be dedicated and I’m pleased to say that I choose to promote BitWine as my primary chat client for my business despite getting a higher call volume through two other chat clients.

I think PayPal is your only payment option right now. BitWine is a very low call-volume site as far as the flow of clients sent your way, however, you can promote your BitWine profile through the traditional routes!

We support all methods: chat, Skype, and phone conversations. Each can be billed per minute. Skype is free for our usage (computer to computer calls).

Instant Message (chat) is built in. No need to download and no need for Skype for that. Billing is independent, so yes – you can bill clients for chat sessions.

Topic: Chatting instead of talking on the phone?

I just created an advisor account here on Bitwine, and I’m kind of confused by the setup. I don’t like to do tarot readings through the phone and prefer to do my client’s questions and answers in a chat room. I see that Skype does have an instant messenger capability, but do clients get billed when using the chat option on Skype?

Basically, I’m asking if clients can connect to me through chat only?

Thank you for any help!
